Additionally, the talk will mention when to use (and when not to use) SQLite, and why it's my favourite database. Programming |

<30sec
by Lawrence Furnival - Teachers College Columbia University I wrote a perl wiki viewer that uses kwiki as a development environment. It is called "<30sec" because it makes a multipage web app with draggable lists (thanks to Simon Cozens), form submition and processing through XMLHttpResponse (AJAX), with simple wiki-like markup (i.e. '____' makes a text field with a width of 4 characters), so a complex web app is possible in "30 seconds or less." The Dirty Dozen
by Jason Purdy - Journalistic, Inc. Dealing with credit cards can be a headache and while lots of thought has been put into secure systems to transmit and store sensitive data, we should just stop! I just want to raise awareness of the situation and highlight one solution. Business |

CPAN Envy
by Casey West - pair Networks I hate using other programming languages. They all have CPAN Envy. This talk will be in two (very) small parts. First I get to rant a little about how our repository is bigger than their repository. Second I'm going to release a project for saving one of those less fortunate programming languages from CPAN Envy. Programming |

In this talk I will discuss very briefly how it all started, how it works, and extend an invitation for everyone to participate by adding their own notes and "annotating CPAN". http://annocpan.org/ Programming |
